Procedure to use BHIM app


  • Install Bhim app from the Play Store on your phone.
  • Open Bhim app
  • Bhim app will ask you to enter your phone number. You will have to enter the phone number registered in your bank account.
  • Once you enter your number in Bhim app it will verify it with the help of an SMS. Get the verification done.
  • As soon as the verification is done Bhim app will show you the bank account associated with the phone number you just entered.
  • Bhim app will also ask you to set a four digit pin. Set it according to your name as it will be the passcode whenever you open the application every time.
  • Now click on bank account.
  • Click on set UPI pin and again and set pin according to your need. This pin will be required when you do the payment from Bhim app.
  • You can also check your balance in the account by clicking on request balance.
  • Come to the homepage of your Bhim app and click on send.
  • Choose the option of account + IFSC.
  • Choose the bank you want to send the money in.
  • Enter all the details required and proceed.
  • Enter the UPI pin you just set above and your payment will be done from Bhim app.
